Prime Day deals include three free months of Amazon Music Unlimited for new users

Amazon hopes to attract more people to Music Unlimited with a pre-Prime Day offer. Those who haven’t tried the service before can try it for three months for free. The offer is even better for Prime members who haven’t tried the music-streaming platform. They can use it for four months at no additional cost. Music Unlimited normally costs $11 per month without Prime and $10 per month for Prime members.

The company isn’t completely ignoring existing subscribers. Those who have a separate Amazon Music Unlimited plan can upgrade to the Family plan for two months at no additional cost.

Amazon Music Unlimited includes more than 100 million songs, many of which are available in high definition and/or spatial audio. The service also includes ad-free versions of many popular podcasts.

While it’s not the first music streaming service that comes to most people’s mind, Amazon Music Unlimited might be worth a try. The HD music selection is particularly notable, as Spotify doesn’t offer this feature yet.

If you subscribe to Amazon Prime or Prime Video and want to expand your streaming horizons, Amazon has a deal for you. Prime subscribers can get a bundled subscription of Max and the ad-free version of Starz for just $21 per month, which is $7 less than the bundle’s usual $28 per month price.

Max has a solid back catalog of classic Hollywood films programmed by Turner Classic Movies, original movies and TV shows from HBO, and cartoons from Cartoon Network, as well as an uncluttered collection of reality TV programming from HGTV, Food Network, and others. If you’re thinking of watching The White Lotus when the show returns in February or the second season of The Last of Us in April, this bundle is a good reason to get on board with Max.

If you don’t have a Prime subscription yet, you can still get this bundle deal. You can sign up for a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime to enjoy the bundle for $21 per month, and just add an additional $15 per month after your trial is over. Prime Video also has an interesting library worth exploring. If shows based on video games are your thing, it includes the recent adaptation of Fallout.

Since this deal is through Prime Video, you’ll have to access Max and Starz as Prime Video channels rather than their individual streaming apps, but that’s a minor hassle for a good deal.
